Infusion Center

East Houston Regional Medical Center is home to a dedicated Infusion Center for adults requiring outpatient infusion services. Our bilingual nurses specialize in the administration of chemotherapy and the insertion of Peripherally Inserted Central Catheter (PICC) lines.

We provide comprehensive, compassionate care to patients requiring infusion services, including:

  • Chemotherapy
  • Central line catheter care
  • Hydration
  • Antibiotics
  • Steroids
  • Hormones
  • Blood and blood products
  • Intravenous therapies for the treatment of osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, corticosteroid-responsive disorders (Boniva, Reclast, Remicaide, Solu-Medro, and more)
  • Intramuscular and subcutaneous injections such as RhoGAM, Neupogen, and Procrit

All therapies must be prescribed by a physician. Orders may be faxed to (713) 393-2641.

The Infusion Center utilizes high-tech infusion pumps and medication administration systems, and was designed with your comfort in mind, including:

  • Oversized, plush reclining treatment chairs with pillows and blankets
  • Televisions
  • Refreshments
  • Wireless internet access
